صحراء بدية
بدية هي محافظة تقع في وسط المنطقة الشرقية من سلطنة عمان. تقع على بعد حوالي 233 كيلومترا (145 ميلا) من العاصمة مسقط. وهي معروفة أيضا باسم البادية.
تلعب الطبيعة دورا مهما في المظهر الجمالي لمحافظة بدية، حيث تتنوع البيئة بين الكثبان الرملية والجبال والسهول والواحات الخضراء. تشتهر المنطقة بتنظيم سباقات الهجن والخيول العربية، وهي أحداث تجذب المتحمسين من داخل وخارج السلطنة.
واحدة من أكثر الصحاري الرملية جاذبية في عمان هي الرمال الشرقية، وهي مجموعة من الكثبان الرملية تتراوح ألوانها بين الأحمر والبنّي، مما يخلق مناظر طبيعية ساحرة. تغطي هذه الرمال حوالي 10000 كيلومتر مربع وتستضيف حوالي 200 نوع من الحياة النباتية. الرمال الشرقية هي وجهة التخييم المفضلة نظرا لسهولة الوصول إليها ووسائل الراحة القريبة. وتزداد جاذبيتها بوجود مخيمات سياحية منتشرة على الرمال الذهبية، والتي تقدم خدماتها في قلب بحر الرمال الذهبية.

Bidiyah or Bidiyah (Arabic: Bidiya) is a wilayat located in the center of the Eastern Province of the Sultanate of Oman. It is located about 233 kilometres (145 miles) from the capital, Muscat. Bidiyah Governorate, also known as Badia, is a governorate in the Eastern Province of Oman.
Nature plays an important role in the aesthetic appearance of Bidiyah Governorate, where the environment varies between sand dunes, mountains, plains and green oases. The region is known for organising camel and Arabian horse races, events that attract enthusiasts from inside and outside the Sultanate. One of Oman's most attractive sandy deserts is the oriental sands, a collection of sand dunes stretching from red to brown, creating a mesmerizing landscape. These sands cover about 10,000 square kilometers and host about 200 species of plant life. Eastern Sands is a favorite camping destination due to its easy access and nearby amenities. Its attractiveness is increased by the presence of tourist camps scattered on the golden sands, which provide services in the heart of the Golden Sands Sea.
